IN STORAGE
27 Jan to 7 March 2009, at 34 Long Fine Art
The mix of artists on 34 Long's current show, Four, has proved popular and so its run has been extended, with some exciting variations.
Several works - among them some by Robert Hodgins, D*Face and Willie Bester - have left the gallery, and have been replaced with new ones. A new work by Marlene Dumas has been added as well as a limited number of editioned prints by Takashi Murakami. If these passed you by last year, be sure not to miss them now.
The gallery at 34 Long was originally designed as a shop with plenty of behind-the-scenes storage space. Putting the aesthetics of storage into practice, the upstairs gallery will once again serve as "showroom-storeroom", crammed to capacity with more works than hanging space permits. You are sure to find a special treasure among the masses!
There will be no evening opening. Viewing times are
Tuesdays to Fridays, 10h00 to 17h00 and Saturdays 10h00 to 14h00.
